For one of our Global Pharma clients, we are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager. You will work closely alongside a Project Manager on a product launch, driving successful first-to-market initiatives in Switzerland. Working across all business units, you will be responsible for ensuring first-class launch planning and execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize regular and extraordinary cross-functional launch readiness meetings;
  • Create meeting reports and follow-up on defined action points with Supply Chain, Marketing, QA, Regulatory Affairs and BD&L in Switzerland but also cross-region;
  • Ensure project related data integrity by updating vital project information using MS Project, Excel and SharePoint tools;
  • Assist the Project Manager in:
    • the execution of strategic important process improvements;
    • launch planning and tracking with clear milestones for upcoming launches;
    • optimizing launches by setting up a strategic launch plan per product, including the competitive environment, IP situation and a risk mitigation plan;
    • managing risk assessments in connection with order placement;
    • timely execution of contingency plans when launches are jeopardized;
  •  Organizing and chairing the bi-weekly project meeting;
  •  Assist the launch project manager in operational excellence activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or higher education, preferably with a degree in project management;
  • 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a strong background in the consumer health industry with project management experience;
  • Good to have experience in Excel Tools and SharePoint acknowledge
  • Fluent in English AND German;
  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
