With a focus on innovative Oncology and Ophthalmology therapies, they’re also driving a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology, maintaining one of the industry’s strongest portfolios of Phase II/III studies.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Communication Project Manager for a 6-month contract position in Basel, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Support PTC Tech Head in rolling out comms on Harbor (Knowledge Management system) as the preferred channel for GCO.
  • Represent the Knowledge Management / Harbor communication area in the GCO Knowledge Board.
  • Manage Harbor as a GCO comms channel, setting the expectations, scheduling and demonstrating best practice.
  • Set the strategy and change management for transition of communications from functional/team email channels and newsletters into Harbor.
  • Work with Learning Managers to assist in the communication of content migration from function/team SharePoint sites into Harbor.
  • Liaise with GCO comms contributors to understand their needs and assist them in achieving their goals.
  • Upskill authors/curators in communications best practice.
  • Document ‘how to’ guides for best practice (eg, embedding videos, adding images, formatting).
  • Track KPIs and other metrics for reporting within PTC and Enabling Technologies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
  • Scientific University degree combined with several years of experience in communications or similar in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Strong project management and change management experience.
  • Demonstrated innovative and creative use of visual and written content to maximize communication effectiveness to all audiences involved.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural matrix environment.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
