Data and Digital Workflow Specialist – 6722

 

Our client is a leading Swiss multinational healthcare company headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. Operating in Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics, it is one of the world’s largest biotech companies and a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics and cancer treatments. Our client is known for its strong focus on innovation, particularly in personalized healthcare, and has played a major role in developing treatments for oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, and neuroscience.

 

The perfect candidate is an analytically-minded data professional with a Master's degree in a quantitative scientific field and at least 2-3 years of proven experience optimizing digital workflows, data pipelines, and implementing FAIR data principles within a scientific or lab environment.

 

This is a 2 years contract role in Basel for a Pharma Research and Early Development department of a Leading Swiss multinational healthcare company.

Main Responsibilities

 

·       Enhance data accessibility and interoperability through FAIR workflows and process analysis.

·       Optimize data pipelines, integrate digital tools, and migrate legacy data for better usability.

·       Lead product development, solution rollouts, user training, and change management.

·       Document workflows and provide ongoing support to ensure effective system usage.

·       Act as the primary liaison between IT, business, and end-users, reporting progress to leadership.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

·      Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required

·      Minimum Master’s in Scientific or Engineering Disciplines, Bioinformatics, or Data Science.

·      2-3 years proven track record in business analysis, data pipelines, and digital workflow optimization, especially in scientific/lab environments.

·      A strong understanding of FAIR data principles, process analysis, and product ownership.

·      Experience with SLIMS, LIMS, eLN, data management systems, and lab automation is a plus.

·      Collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·      English fluent is a MUST, German and French nice to have
