Fullstack Engineer (80-100%)

Our client is a leading medical technology company in Switzerland. It is a global leader in respiratory care for intensive care units. We are currently looking for a Fullstack Engineer for a permanent position in the canton St. Gallen (also close to Zurich), Switzerland.

This is not a remote role (up to 20% home office possible).

Our client seeks an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to join their growing Digital Solutions Group. In this role, you will develop and maintain applications running on the cloud. You are open to exploring and adapting new technologies and frameworks and will be challenged with tasks in the analysis and design of the software, as well as in quality assurance.

Digital Solutions is a new group that offers you the opportunity to significantly impact products and the way of working.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analysis & design of innovative software solutions
  • Implementation & testing of new software features, as well as maintenance and operation of released software
  • Work closely with other engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality software products.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • Degree in engineering (university / technical college) with in-depth knowledge of technical computer science
  • At least three years of professional experience in programming in C#/.NET
  • Experience in developing cloud-native applications
  • Profound knowledge of current frontend technologies (e.g. React)
  • Skills in relational and non-relational databases
  • Analytical, independent, and thorough working method
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Working in a regulated environment: automotive, medtech or related discipline
  • in test-driven development
  • in Azure Services
  • with the CI/CD pipelines targeted to Azure with Docker and Kubernetes
  • with Azure DevOps
  • with Python
