Production Operator – 6811 URA

Our client, a global leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients in both the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is seeking a Production Operator based in Visp for a 12 months contract position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assignment in various functions within the production facilities in compliance with safety regulations and consideration of cGMP quality requirements.
• Recognition, interpretation and elimination of deviations
• Execution of production steps incl. recording, documentation and calculations
• Work in various production functions while following safety and cGMP guidelines
• Identify, interpret, and resolve deviations in production processes
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
• Completed Chemical / Biopharmaceutical education
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical production, preferably as an Operator/Production technician or similar.
• Solid knowledge of process engineering is required.
• Good knowledge of cGMP guidelines and requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, attentive and responsible work.
• Fluency in English is required, German knowledge an advantage.
