For our client, a leading Swiss CMO and Pharma company, we are looking to fill a contract assignment as a
Production Planner – 5329 LBD
Located in the Valais in Switzerland, this role is initially limited to 6 months, with a possible extension.
Responsibilities:
General:
- Apply and promote Lonza culture and code of conduct
- Ensure compliance to applicable regulations
Production scheduling and material planning:
- Contribute to the monthly local BU supply planning cycle
- Reflect the Master Production Plan in Supply Chain Systems on an horizon of 12-24 Months
- Reflect the production scheduling on an horizon of 3-9 Months
- Drive and convert production requirements and subsequent material requirements by
- Firming plan orders
- Converting planned orders to process orders or to purchase requisitions
- Maintaining plan orders, process orders and purchase requisitions
- Identify key roadblocks and report to line manager
- Organize lessons learned after production and follow up on identified actions
Master and transactional data:
- Master and transactional data
- Inventory management (SMOG)
- Process improvement
- Ensure compliance to applicable regulations
- Production scheduling

Inventory management
- Drive reduction of excess inventory to ensure optimal level of material under his profit centers to prevent losses and/or scrap.
Process improvement
- Contribute and deploy Global and Local initiatives
- Contribute to harmonized / standardized KPI’s definition
- Use harmonized / standardized KPI’s to define improvement initiatives and action plan
- Identify, share with peers, and propose best practice to line manager
- Document processes and tasks accordingly to cGMP and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
- German and English
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
- Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
- Competent using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint as well as ERP and Supply Chain systems
