Project Engineer – 6928 – ADA

 

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is recruiting for a Project Engineer for a 1-year contract. This is an onsite role based in Visp, Switzerland.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Technical project management (60%):

·      in planning and realization of small and middle-sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results

·      in process engineering calculations and plant optimizations

·      in feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality

·      in the planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches

 

Concept development (20%)

Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages.

 

Team coordination / Resource management (10%)

Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project.

 

Optimization of processes and transfer of know-how (10%)

·      Finding of optimizations in process flows as well as their implementation.

·      Skills application and incorporation of professional knowledge in daily work

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·      Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required

·      Education: Technical college degree or university degree bachelor’s or master’s degree

·      Preferred area of study: Mechanical engineering, process technology, Bio- or chemical engineering

·      Experience: 3 – 10 year of work experience in GMP environment

·      Very good communication skills

·      Highly independent, structured and flexible working style

·      Excellent leadership skills in a matrix organization

·      Understanding of business and financial processes

·      Solution-oriented with structured working

·      Fluency in English and German are required
