Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for two:

QC Analysts

one role at 60% and the other one at 40%, for a 9-month contract role based in the Valais area, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations & Compliance: Execute daily activities and control tasks in the Quality Control Department; ensure compliance with all GMP and safety standards within the area of responsibility.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate, calibrate, and maintain quality control equipment and machinery; perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on designated instruments.
• Product Testing & Assessment: Test and assess random product samples to ensure they meet predefined standards; aggregate test data and document the results of testing for review.
• Sample Management: Receive, store, and complete the appropriate paperwork for samples submitted to the QC laboratories; maintain an inventory of samples and ensure their proper disposal as required.
• Housekeeping & Supplies: Perform routine housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment; manage the supply of materials to the QC laboratory to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
• Native speaker of German and intermediate English;
• Previous experience in a similar role.
