(Senior) IoT DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) (5051)

Our client, a MedTech company based in Eastern Switzerland, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its growing Digital Solutions Group. In this role, you will be responsible for design and development of the CI/CD infrastructure. You will closely work with the agile development team to enable them delivering high quality software for the embedded IoT devices.


Responsible for the development and maintenance of our CI/CD infrastructure

Develop CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality and simplify the release process

Contribute to our automated testing framework

Monitor the status of the system and conduct periodic automated tests to assess security, performance and availability

Troubleshoot problems and find solutions

Be responsible for budgeting and monitoring the costs of the CI/CD infrastructure

Work closely together with the development team

Document the process and educate other team members


Degree (FH, BSc, MSc, PhD) in computer science, information technologies or relevant field

At least three years of professional experience with CI/CD for embedded devices

Proven track record of providing an infrastructure to test and release high quality firmware

Excellent understanding of using a web based DevOps platform such as Microsoft Azure or similar in combination with hardware in the loop testing

Hands-on experience in building embedded Linux distributions with Yocto or similar

Good knowledge of CMake and C++ build process

Experience in using source code control systems like SVN and git

Excellent knowledge of Python and scripting languages

Analytical, independent and thorough working method

Fluent in English to work in an international team
