Site Manager – Medtech (6136)
Our client, a dynamic global bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a Site Leader on a 12 months contract based in the Oberdorf, Baselland within Switzerland.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in medtech industry with fluency in german and French is a plus. This role has accountability for the technology / performance / of the standard and local software products in the manufacturing plant that are specific to the HMD Manufacturing processes. In addition, they have the responsibility to ensure that the products that support the manufacturing site are coordinated efficiently to deliver application roadmap strategies using Agile and Release Management methods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Actively lead the Plant Ecosystem as a Site Leader for ownership of local products and work toward redefining to a platform or standard product according to companies vision and maturity strategy.
- Lead / Support all related Project and Portfolio Implementations and related investments including product and technology transfer initiatives.
- Drives reliability of the product ecosystem through ALM/TLM programs and Cybersecurity mitigations
- Drives collaboration and execution with internal and external Partners
- Assist technology transfer projects for manufacturing and test equipment between different sites
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of IT product (application) management, design and solution in deployment of major IT capabilities (like manufacturing / shop floor systems) across multiple sites
- 3+(BA)/2+(MBA) years of supply chain/operations, medical device experience in a regulatory environment and knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Strong Eye For Business & Communication skills. Shown ability to work with efficiently with business and technology partners to understand business requirement
- Experience working in a Shared Services model where development and support services are provided by virtual, multi-location, multi-functional teams
- Leadership experience in forming teams with the above capabilities
- German Language Skills are mandatory, French is a plus
- Experience in project execution utilizing Agile / JIRA / rRDM methodology
