For their office in the area of Zug, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic:
Solution Lab Manager
offering an initial contract of 12 months with high chances of extension to an unlimited/permanent contract.
Within our client's Solution Automation, Integration and Testing organization, you will develop innovative automation solutions that support Diagnostic Laboratories in optimizing their workflow and intra-logistic processes. Their solution laboratories represent a customer-like environment, combining diagnostic analyzers, sample transportation systems, physical and digital infrastructure, emulation devices, consumables, and reagents. These laboratories are essential for developing, integrating, and testing complete diagnostic solutions.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing, implementing, overseeing, and authorizing the use of designated laboratory areas, including general laboratory operations, equipment, inventory, maintenance, and cleaning, access control and safety compliance.
- Enforcing laboratory safety and required practices, with authority to deny laboratory access, impose re-orientation, escalate to supervisors when necessary
- Writing, maintaining, and managing laboratory documentation to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Resolving documentation and compliance issues with laboratory users.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for laboratory operations and support.
- Owning and driving the laboratory strategy and lifecycle, in close collaboration with Test Managers.
- Purchasing reagents and consumables for laboratory use
- Performing standard or periodic equipment maintenance tests when required.
- Coordinating calibration, certification, relocation, and repair of laboratory equipment to minimize project impact.
- Acting as a Test Manager when required to support testing activities and reduce testing bottlenecks.
Your Profile:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory management, equipment and workflow management and stakeholder management.
- Strong affinity and understanding of hardware and software interactions.
- Proven experience in integration or testing, ideally within medical diagnostics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- English and German proficiency at B2 level or higher.
