Process Engineer /Sustaining Engineer – Medtech (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Error analysis and solution finding in case of quality defects (CAPA)
  • Support of internal quality management according to MDD/MDR (medical devices)
  • Preparation of test reports, initiation of release processes and reporting on the progress of results
  • Working closely with other departments inside and outside the company to identify causes of defects and propose solutions
  • Preventive maintenance of laser systems to ensure their continued efficient operation
  • Analyzing performance to identify factors that may affect performance
  • Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment to ensure its proper operation
  • Analyzing customer complaints and recommending appropriate actions for improvement 
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure they are being performed correctly and efficiently

Your Profile:

  • College degree in physics or electronics/mechanical engineering or equivalent with background in laser systems
  • At least 3 years of engineering experience with a focus on maintenance engineering
  • Sound laser technology knowledge and technical understanding
  • Knowledge of medical device development and analog electronic circuits
  • Very good technical, communication, problem solving and project management skills (independent working, quality oriented and conscientious working style)
  • High degree of team-oriented work, creativity, organization, detail orientation as well as own initiative
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of standards in the medical technology industry (FDA, IEC60601, EN62304)
