For our client, a Swiss MedTech company located in the Berne Midlands, and its Delivery Systems Division we are currently looking for a

Systems Engineer YDS (5052)

Your main tasks

Requirements Engineering / Management: Definition of requirements for new systems in cooperation with Marketing and Business Development

System Architecture: Development of the functional and physical system architecture

Collaboration with involved departments (software, hardware and mechanical development, risk management and testing)

Incorporation of standards and legal requirements for the system

Development and maintenance of requirements and design documents as well as traceability

Your profile

Basic technical education (electronics technician, computer scientist or design engineer)

Further education as engineer FH or ETH (resp. Bachelor or Master), specialising in electrical engineering, software, micro or biomedical engineering

Professional experience as a development engineer or as a (partial) project manager in multidisciplinary projects

Experience in the field of systems engineering / requirements engineering

Strong affinity to SW based systems

Experience in software or system architecture design

Experience in medical technology or another regulated environment

Knowledge on medical grade standards (e.g. IEC 60601, IEC 62304 etc)

Very good English skills, good knowledge in German is a plus
