Test, Verification and Validation Engineer (German-speaking) (80-100%)

Our client is a leading medical technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. We are currently looking for a Test, Verification and Validation Engineer for a permanent position in the Graubünden area, Switzerland.

This is not a remote role. Up to 20% home office within Switzerland possible.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test and document systems in accordance with applicable standards in an interdisciplinary project team
  • Have expert knowledge of R and D Mechanical Design and Engineering
  • Execute design adaptations and optimizations in CAD
  • Collaborate in the development of new products
  • Interface with the other C-Tools (to mechanical production, ERP, programming)
  • Make own developments on the C-Tool
  • Prepare requirements, test and project documentation
  • Carry out simulations, evaluate measurement data and draw well-founded conclusions
  • Conduct technical discussions with internal and external suppliers
  • Ensure product quality and cost with respect to our high standards
  • Manage sub-projects and product development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • Master or bachelor degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, medical technology, electrical engineering or similar)
  • Knowledge in data analysis and statistics as well as experience with product testing is required
  • Practical knowledge in the field of measurement technology and interest in the function and development of consumer products and sensor technology for the ventilation of intensive care patients
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Experience in programming with Matlab is an advantage
