Our client, a Swiss multinational healthcare company headquartered in Basel, is looking for a:

Clinical Data Manager who will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of data management activities across studies.

The job is in Basel (Switzerland) and the contract duration is 12 months with the possibility of extension. 

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Clinical Data Management study team as its core representative, providing oversight for all study build, conduct, and closeout activities, and ensuring high-quality, fit-for-purpose execution
  • Implement study conventions, processes, knowledge sharing, and best practices on the assigned study
  • Contribute to the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system programming and maintenance, and collaborate with IT
  • Implement study conventions, processes, knowledge sharing, and best practices for assigned studies

Your Profile:

  • Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • A BA/BS degree (or equivalent) and industry experience (3-5years) in leading study teams in a clinical research environment
  • In-depth understanding of CDM business processes and how they align with global regulatory requirements (GCDMP, ICH-GCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g., SQL, SAS, or Python) and system development
  • Expertise in ensuring data is "analysis-ready” and accuracy in the data flow from collection to submission
  • Experience in acting as the primary point of contact and leadership for CDM in cross-functional settings
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
