Data Management Support (German-speaking)

Our client, a large pharmaceutical organization, is looking for a German-speaking Data Support Engineer for a 8-month contract (with possibility for extension) in Bern, Switzerland.

Support the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) and Validation functions by contributing to data management, analysis, process improvement, documentation, and compliance activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and validation of STATISTICA workspaces for the automated evaluation of data from systems such as LIMS and MES, including verification of data integrity and analysis accuracy.
  • Assist with document archiving activities, including the preparation, organization, and transfer of documentation to the Scan Competence Center.
  • Support Validation and MS&T projects through data extraction, processing, analysis, reporting, and sample handling activities.
  • Update and maintain SOPs, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents within the MS&T and Validation departments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • Science degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, PhD in pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, biology, chemistry) or comparable education. Or several years of industry experience.
  • 0-3 years job experience
  • GMP experience (preferable)
  • Fluent in English and German
