Engineering Project Manager – Capex – 6897

Our client is a specialist biotherapeutics manufacturer with over a century of experience treating various diseases worldwide. They are committed to patients with coagulation disorders, immunological diseases, enzyme deficiency diseases and other rare diseases.

The position holder is responsible and accountable for the delivery of local CapEX-projects in the field of (mainly but not limited on) Bulk and Fractionation from feasibility to planning, execution and qualification/validation within the remit of the global engineering and project delivery (ENG / PD) department. The project in this department is in the field of process safety improvements, fire safety upgrades, etc. We are looking for a Capex program / project manager, who understands (does not need to be an expert) these types of improvements.

An ideal candidate is some one who possess strong technical knowledge of process and infrastructure engineering, along with demonstrated expertise in cGxP environment. This person is also fluent in both German and English to effectively communicate with global and local teams within the engineering and project delivery organization. This role is on contract basis until the end of the year.

Qualifications and Experience:

·       Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required

·       Degree (Bachelor, Master or higher) in mechanical, electrical, process or chemical-engineering, Dipl. lng. Or M.Sc. or B.Sc. or higher or equivalent.

·       Leadership experience for the management of the respective department.

·       5+ years of successful project management and leadership experience on mid-sized CapEx projects with high complexity in the chemical, biotech-or pharmaceutical industry.

Proven project management skills including contract management and controlling.

·       Proven experience and knowledge in chemical, biotech or pharmaceutical process and infra engineering.

·       Proven experience in cGxP and qualification.

·       Languages: German and English fluent in written and spoken
