IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator (German-speaking)

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator for a contract position till end of 2026 (with option for extension) in Valais area, Switzerland.

This is an on-site position.

To supervise and support local initiatives. To ensure growth and changes on the site Visp. Together with the different stakeholders bring the activities to a successful end.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Support a portfolio of local projects throughout the project lifecycle (pre-assesment, Initiate, plan and design, execute, monitor & control, and close) across divisions
  • Supervise project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables, including ensuring appropriate review and approvals from stakeholders.
  • Ensures tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved
  • As the IT Infra Project Coordinator to take ownership and drive vendor interactions, primarily on a technical level
  • Understanding and analyzing of business processes and integrate IT perspective
  • Support the business in IT related topics for the respective projects
  • Close collaboration between different departments and key stakeholders
  • Helping out projects to get to a successful completion
  • Support network engineering activities on an as-needed basis, subject to workload and project priorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • Minimum 5 years IT management / implementation and Project Management
  • German and English language proficiency
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Actively help to improve/establish processes
  • General understanding of GxP
  • Well organized and structured work approach / assertive
  • Strong structured and analytical thinking, problem solving attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate easy going while interacting with different
  • cultures
  • Ability to coordinate projects with an understanding of underlying IT infrastructure
