Logistics Operator – 6977

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for 2 Logistics Operators, based in Basel, Switzerland for an 1x initial 1-year contract role with possible extension(s) and 1x for an initial 6 months' contract role with possible extension(s).

This position is responsible for all logistical activities to maintain the daily operation of the DPS laboratories and office areas. Warehouse management, ordering, inventory, analytical and technical shipments are core responsibilities.

Main Responsiblities:

·      Supplies for laboratories, incl. inventories

·      Warehouse management tasks such as requisition and restock of any lab consumables/chemicals, 6S, Kanban, etc.

·      Manage logistic of pharmaceutical samples and technical material according to internal procedures (e.g. good receipt and shipments)

·      Provides administrative support

·      Close cooperation with suppliers

·      Manage and assist with projects within the logistic and warehousing

 

Required Qualifications:

·      Swiss or EU citizen with right to work for Switzerland

·      Degree or Apprenticeship in Logistics

·      At least 3 years of experience in Logistics

·      Excellent planning and organizational skills

·      Excellent communication skills

·      Good command of written and spoken English

·      Basic knowledge of spoken German

·      Good interpersonal skills
