ERP System Support Specialist – 6465

 

We are currently looking for a ERP System Support Specialist for an initial contract until end of 2025, with potential extension, to be based in Basel area of Switzerland.

 

As the main contact for SAP ERP within the IT-OT organization, you will support and connect key users from the operational areas and functions as SAP ERP 1st-level support and interface to 2nd-level support within the IT organization. The goal is to optimally support the smooth and effective operation of the operational areas.

 

The ideal candidate should have a strong service orientation with relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes as well as the ability to communicate effectively with business and IT in English and German. A high degree of initiative/motivation, self-organization, and a willingness to learn is expected for this role. In addition, very good experience in SAP Supply Chain Management and the Make Assess Release process is required.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·      As part of the ERP Systems Support team in Kaiseraugst, the ERP System Support Specialist is responsible for the support and change management of the SAP ERP systems and their interfaces to and from other systems in Kaiseraugst. The ERP System Support group serves as a service unit between IT and the operational units to fulfill the Make/Assess/Release process

·      SAP ERP Incident & Change Management (analysis, specification, testing, training)

·      Coordination / information / support of SAP key users from the business departments in the area of ​​responsibility.

·      Main contact person for SAP IT Support and for the Regional User Community

·      Close collaboration with internal and external partners from other SAP support areas, Business Process Manager, regional SAP IT Support and global projects

·      Collaboration in local and/or global projects as an SME and system consultant for the support areas

·      Project work and System Process Specialist (SPS) Function

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·     Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;

·      Bachelor's degree in a computer science field or equivalent training in Supply Chain Management

·      Min. 5+ years of project experience or experience in operational support in the area of ​​SAP in Supply Chain Management

·      Very good experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing

·      Very good knowledge of middle layer

·      GMP experience

·      Fluent German and English skills (at least level B2)

·      Team player, motivated, independent, resilient, open, willing to learn, committed and able to work under pressure

·      Personality with excellent communication skills

·      Very good analytical, conceptual and organizational skills with a strong customer focus and service mentality

·      Process understanding and E2E mindset
